Arcon Research Group
4x revenue and 3x net profit — without burning out the founder.
Where Arcon Research Group was stuck
Brian was ready to shut Arcon Research down. In 2020, the business had pulled $120K gross and $80K net — and three years of reading books, rewriting SOPs, and swapping out hires hadn't moved the needle. Every new problem got solved by throwing another body at it, and none of it was working. He didn't see a clear path forward and was on the verge of walking away from the business entirely.
What we built
We came in as an ongoing consultant — bi-weekly calls, automation-first thinking, and a hard bias toward fixing processes before adding people. Every new problem Brian ran into got run past us before he hired another body. We built systems that let the business run 24/7 without him babysitting it — so he could go on holiday and know everything was still getting done exactly the way it should be. The relationship became less about one project and more about having a technical co-pilot on call.
What happened next
By 2023, Arcon was at $480K gross revenue and $220K net profit — 4x gross, nearly 3x net, in three years. But the result Brian talks about first isn't the money — it's the drop in stress. He can step away from the business with confidence that the systems are running. He stopped reaching for another hire as the default fix, and started reaching for automation instead. What almost became a shuttered business turned into one he actually wants to keep running.
“In 2020, before I started working with Ryan, I had made a total of $120,000 of gross revenue and $80,000 of net. By 2023, after three years of working with Ryan, we were bringing in $480,000 per year of gross revenue and $220,000 of net profit.”
